Linkages with Information Agencies

 

Region VII is still considering this aspect of the network structure.  No agency on the list of potential members developed during the planning process appears to fit this label.  Nevertheless, the Gold Coast Library Network Annual Plan FY 2000-2001 and the Long Range Plan address this concern in Activity 6C.ii,

 

“Refine and implement structural and governance documents, e.g., mission statement, regional resource library criteria and functions, information agency definition and policy”.

 

During the first year, Network linkages with non-library providers of information service to our community will be identified, defined and established as appropriate.
